Hi Sara - I want you to know that you're the FIRST AND ONLY PERSON who didn't
just come out and tell me they don't make em anymore and good luck. It's a pretty
frustrating challenge to find this part. I've seen one online for $409 or they can
"possibly" rebuild them for $250 and that takes a few weeks to a few months.
Cripes! It's easier to just buy a new stove - maybe that's what they want. This little stove has been truly outstanding (a real workhorse) for our family as it heats our entire home when the power is out in winter (just connect the generator).
So, again Sara, I thank you VERY MUCH for what you do and the lead you provided me.
If your company doesn't know the support you provide the customers, I'd be apauled.
If you'd provide an email to your CEO I'd "gladly" forward this to him or her.

I couldn't believe it this fall when I noticed that the "grate" was missing a section in the bottom, and then this week when I cleaned the stove more pieces had disintegrated to leave a very large hole.

I couldn't be more pleased with the control board rebuild on my Whitfield Renaissance pellet stove. The rebuilt control board works perfectly. I trust this company which is Better Business Bureau accredited. My control board arrived back to me sooner than expected and was safely packaged.
I have an older stove that wasn't useable without the rebuild. The rebuild was SO MUCH cheaper than replacement. I'm not positive that a new one could fit properly in my room since the venting has changed. And, my old stove really is beautiful. So nice to have going again.

I appreciate this information, as I was getting worried that you had lost my order (which I placed on the 8th of February). You have made up for the error in shipping admirably, by paying the 'overnight' rate (which I understand is probably more than the total bill of my order), and as soon as I verify that my issue is repaired with my Austroflamm Integra stove, I shall be most likely ordering other things (like the annual gasket kit, and the door seal kit). Your loss in this shipping change may perhaps be made up by further purchases (which are not quite as critical as the total loss of heating in my location). I shall use your company for these items, as you have shown me that customer service (and your desire to correct mistakes and such) seems to be as important to you as it is to me. Don't be afraid to contact me personally, as I am a reasonable man, and understand that mistakes are made at all levels. We are only human, are we not?

I'm following up on the phone conversation you had with our customer service agent this morning. As I understand it the end plate that you received from us didn't appear to fit so you ground some of the metal off of the plate. It then didn't line up properly but you needed to get your stove working so you removed the bearings and used them. You are requesting to return the "defective" end plate and receive a refund or partial refund.
I'm afraid by modifying the part - grinding the metal and removing the bearings - you have voided the warranty and rendered the end plate unsellable. We regret we will not be able to accept the end plate or issue any portion of a refund.

I had a flue damper installed on the top of my fireplace chimney. The installers put down a heavy denim floor cover from the front door right up to the fireplace, swept and vacuumed the flue and fireplace, dimantled, inspected, and re-assembled the chimney top (including the addition of screws where there had been none before), installed the damper at the top, installed a cable sheath, pull chain fob, fob bracket at the bottom, and left the house as clean as they found it. If I had bought the damper myself, the difference (of adding their labor) would have been about $50; a good deal in my book. I'll be looking to A1 when I install my insert.

Got the glass piece that I needed for the door and it was the right one. Sounds dumb but I ordered things through the Internet and got the wrong parts more than once. There is usually a metal plate on the back of the stove with Make Model and Serial Number.
To start a fire you usually open the flue so air rushes past and then close it down so wood does not burn up too quickly.

I would like to let you know that Mike Hopkins, your web master was really helpful. When it came to the ordering process I had sent a message to your site, about how the options for the doors, logs, ect. were not on the site. I was under the impression that it might be included. Well that wasn't the case, but he thanked me for letting him know about the changes that he needed to make on the site. Through another email volley I asked if it might be possible that I receive a discount, and he kindly offered me a 10% discount. I was really kinda shocked because I didn't think that it would materialize. I am a firm believer in customer service, and was very impressed and decided at that point I really wanted to purchase from A1stoves. The site is easy to navigate, the pictures are great, from what I have seen so far the customer service is wonderful.
Just a note to thank you for your excellent service. Order was received early and most importantly in time for a weekend install at our cabin outside of Anchorage. To have received this order in Alaska only 4 days after initial order is truly exemplary. Freight / Shipment to Alaska is often problematic – so you did GREAT !! I will certainly recommend A-1 to others.
