Bought an auger endplate for my whitfield stove and it doesn't fit, tried to make it fit by trimming a little off, used bushing to get stove working, customer service will not work with me on a partial refund

Hi Mark,

I'm following up on the phone conversation you had with our customer service agent this morning. As I understand it the end plate that you received from us didn't appear to fit so you ground some of the metal off of the plate. It then didn't line up properly but you needed to get your stove working so you removed the bearings and used them. You are requesting to return the "defective" end plate and receive a refund or partial refund.

I'm afraid by modifying the part - grinding the metal and removing the bearings - you have voided the warranty and rendered the end plate unsellable. We regret we will not be able to accept the end plate or issue any portion of a refund.
